This is an indoor/outdoor event. Suitable for kids of all ages - up to 99 years old as well as serious modelers and collectors.

A favourite in the steam day calendar, the Engine Shed is converted to an exhibition among the locos. Organised by Invicta Model Rail Invicta Model Rail stockists of Hornby, Bachmann, Peco, Gaugemaster and most other leading brands, hosted in conjunction with a BWLR Steam Day, it makes a fantastic family day out. Invicta Model Railway Show and Steam Day - Sunday 3rd August

While the August sun begins to drift towards the horizon and shadows lengthen, join award-winning storyteller Jason Buck - back by popular demand for his forth year - as he continues to weave dark tales of ghosts and supernatural, among the trees at this cosy, rural open-air site.

He is described as ” a man made of myth, magic and mead. His stories are filled with adventure, his beard is full of unexpected twists and his tankard filled with a poet’s brew. Sit around the fire and listen to his tales – you won’t be disappointed.” Abbie, Strange Times Storytelling Club

Bring camping chairs or blankets to sit on (some rustic seating is available), a picnic (a bar and some refreshments will also be on site), in the great outdoors, as the tales unfold, and Jason takes you on journeys of a dark and chilling nature, as the summer sun begins to set.
